Ruskim Seafoods Ltd is a family run business established in 1982, we supply seafood and other foodservice products into the catering market. Our customers include wholesalers, foodservice, retail & manufacturing.
The Company employs 230 people and distributes from 6 depots across the UK and Eire. Our annual turnover is in excess of £100m.
We are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our small and friendly head office accounts team.
The role is Full Time (35 hours per week) and the working hours are 9am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Core
responsibilities:
The role is a bit of a mixed bag, but will be varied and will ideally be someone with experience of all aspects of the accounts function. The kind of things we are looking for the person to do are :-
Reconciliations - bank, balance sheet, customer or supplier.
Analysis - sales, margin, expenses
Payroll - data capture and analysis.
Journal input
Monthly accounts preparation assistance.
Expense category reconciliations and auditor evidence gathering.
Lots of other things
Skills and Experience:
Good working knowledge of all aspects of an accounts department.
Accuracy in data entry imperative.
Good time management & prioritising skills.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office, primarily Outlook, Word and Excel
Able to prioritise workload, work under own initiative and meet deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Personable and enthusiastic with excellent written and oral communication skills
We are looking for someone who can enhance their skills, so there is the opportunity for training and development
