My client is looking for a Credit Risk Lead. This is a brand-new role within the credit risk function. The Credit Policy Lead will primarily be responsible for the effective, proactive management of the business credit acquisition strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to join with a very forward-thinking company. They're always looking to develop and learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

Strong management of credit policy documents
Ensures that the credit strategy is properly encoded in new and legacy application processing systems
Plays a key role in digital transformation and migration projects
Develop a new policy framework of key credit policy documents
Manages the process of policy change
Ensures that the implementation of policy changes is managed with partners, operations and systems
Develops and recommends champion / challenger strategies to help optimise risk and reward
Key "business partner" to commercial partnersSkills

Excellent communication skills
Analytical mind, with some SAS or Excel skills
Able to work constructively with other areas in the development of lending policy
Able to understand the impact of credit policy
Good stakeholder management
Experience of participating in project and development teams
Commercial, business focused
Engage and manage stakeholders, developing effective relationships internally and externally
IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Understand how to control risk and appropriate monitoring systems
