ACCOUNTS & AUDIT SEMI-SENIOR or SENIOR - BANBURY, OXFORDSHIRE - JOB REF: JO23946
Accountancy Elite yet again have been instructed by a long term client of ours who are a well established accountancy firm in Banbury, Oxfordshire. They are looking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Semi-Senior or Senior who can be anywhere in qualification level from AAT Qualified to either studying or looking to study ACCA/ACA right up to fully ACCA/ACA qualified with a minimum of 18 months accounts and audit experience in practice.
ROLE
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist the department manager and play a critical role as part of the accounts & audit team.
• Undertake bookkeeping, including ledger maintenance, supplier maintenance and management accounts preparation.
• Liaise with clients to obtain all information required for their accounts.
• Using accounting software to provide accurate reporting for Managers, Directors and clients.
• Prepare business tax computations, partnership and personal tax returns, prepare corporation tax computations and CT600 forms.
• Preparing statutory accounts and finalise accounts under the overall supervision of your Line Manager.
• Provide support to trainees through on-the-job coaching and supervision of their work.
• Assist senior team with Audits on clients premises.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
• AAT Qualified as a minimum.
• Minimum 18 months accounts and audit experience in practice.
• Ability to perform as a semi-senior or supervise audits, prepare statutory financial statements and related business tax returns.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to create a positive impression with clients.
• Good accounts and audit knowledge.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skill.
• Fluent English both written and verbal.
• Full UK driving license.
