CAPITAL PROJECT COST CONTROLLER - 14 MONTH FTC - HERTFORDSHIRE
A leading pharmaceutical organisation in Hertfordshire are looking for a Capital Project Cost Controller to join their Engineering team on a 14 month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Head of Capital Projects you will take responsibility for the definition, scope and control of finances for the project portfolio within the Capital Projects Department; you will be fully engaged with all stages of the process from definition, planning, tendering, execution and final close out of the projects to ensure the team deliver on the annual financial commitments whilst remaining within budget.
You will support the Head of Capital Projects to develop a 3 to 5 year capital plan and provide your expert guidance to Project Managers and Project Engineers on individual project budgets using forecast spend profiles. You will also work closely with the finance, accounts and procurement teams in providing accurate forecasting, cost control, cash flow and budgeting and maintaining total control over project finances.
Suitable candidates will have proven experience of managing the costs/finances of multiple CAPEX projects at a time as well as being sufficient in the use of Microsoft packages such as Excel, Power Point and Word. Candidates will ideally come from a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or FMCG background and a Degree in Finance/ Accountancy would be advantageous.
