ENVIRONMENT:

A dynamic FinTech company in Joburg seeks the expertise of a strategic Chief Commercial Officer who enjoys a hands-on approach when it comes to executing any deliverable. Your core role will be to deliver exceptional products through the design and ownership of the digital strategy and engagement platform & compiling a business plan with roadmap, targets and budgets to ensure a world-class customer experience. You will require 7 years' experience in the digital space with a specific focus on Financial Services & must have experience within the Insurance sector, 5 years' Product Development, be able to build processes using technology & software of choice & Project Management.

DUTIES:

* Control the product strategy, and design, build and launch products, taking all customer touchpoints into account.
* Work closely with Tech teams to ensure the delivery of product features and roadmap to ensure a seamless and digitally led experience across all customer interactions.
* Ensure that the product performs ahead of target with respect to key metrics, including conversions, collections and persistency.
* Incorporate and integrate new technologies into the sales and after sales experience, with high focus on automation.
* Conceptualize and develop an eco-system with the view of enhancing the customer journey and ensuring that customers are engaged, informed and aligned to products, the brand and business principles.
* Work with the growth teams to ensure that the products are being marketed and sold in a way that maximizes growth.
* Implement data teams, infrastructure and tools to ensure a data-driven approach to product development and customer experience with the goal of delivering greater revenue, retention and lifetime value.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum 7 years' experience in the digital space with focus on Financial Services
* Strong product knowledge and a minimum of 5 years' experience in Product Development and conceptualization.
* Able to build processes using technologies and software of choice.
* Project Management.
* Able to lead teams.
