Are you an experienced Accounting professional capable of managing an organisations finances and payroll needs, and are seeking a position that will allow you to develop both within the business and your career? If so, read on.
Interaction Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with this Northamptonshire based SME organisation who are going from strength to strength, with both foreign expansion and the development of a new facility next to their existing site.
They are now seeking a Finance professional that will cover all financial duties, working closely with the company Directors and liaising with an external accountant at year end. As such, this position requires an individual that is capable of working autonomously and without supervision, therefore a self-motivated attitude is a must.
Duties will include:
• All transactional accounting: processing invoices on both the sales and purchase ledger, Credit Control duties and having a keen eye on outstanding debt
• Reconciliations to the General Ledger, Bank Accounts and at Month End
• Preparation and posting of Journals
• Production of Monthly Management reports
• VAT returns - production and submission
• Managing a small monthly Payroll
• Liaising with HMRC and Companies House
• Year End preparation and liaising with an external accountant
As an individual you will have developed your finance experience to a level where you have strong competencies with all round accounting. You will also have held responsibility for a companys Payroll requirements.
As an individual it is a must that you are a driven "go getter". This is an organisation that is going places and as such the successful applicant will have ambition to match. This will most likely include staff management at some point in the future
