THE COMPANY:
Based in Halifax, this growing business within the manufacturing sector benefits from a great reputation within their sector. They are looking for a bright and capable Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their friendly team and support the Financial Controller
THE JOB:
This fast paced and varied role will include the following duties:
Ensure invoices and payments are processed timely and accurately within the month end timetable.
Assist with stock invoice postings including the allocation of freight, duty and management of currency within the stock and purchase ledger system.
Assist with supplier invoice and payment processing as well as statement reconciliations.
Oversee supplier queries to ensure they are monitored, reviewed and resolved in a timely manner.
Assist with daily banking and statement reconciliations.
Assist with cash flow management.
Improve controls and processes to add value and drive efficiency.THE PERSON:
Relevant experience in a similar role
Motivated, keen to take ownership of the role
Strong eye for detail
Great communication skills
Proactive
Knowledge of Sage and SAP
Good experience on MS Excel
Numerical, analytical and able to meet deadlines
