Prince Personnel are currently recruiting a Group Financial Accountant for a successful manufacturing company based in Telford.

Responsibilities include:

* Defining and executing the measures to ensure compliance with process standards

* Query of training needs and holding internal training courses on SAP functionalities, closing processes, accounting standards and selected accounting topics

* Monthly consultation with Shared Service Centre(SSC) contact persons in the context of/follow-up to the preparation of the monthly financial statements

* Review of the monthly financial statements of the UK entities to ensure compliance with IFRS standards and internal guidelines

* Preparation of the UK GAAP annual accounts

* Preparation of the parent company guarantees

* Consolidated financial statements

* Support in preparing the monthly IC reconciliation and review

* Review of the IFRS Reporting packages

* Supporting in planning individual balance sheet items for the UK entities

* Reviewing of the balance sheet planning

* Creating process descriptions and documentations which are considered in the financial accounting manual

* Reviewing process descriptions and documentations to be adopted in the financial accounts manual

* Standardisation, further development and optimisation of the processes that go beyond the transactional posting processes carried out in the SSC

* IFRS 16

* Carrying out FI functional test and integrative tests

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this vacancy you will need to be ACA qualified, have advanced excel skills and have experience of producing statutory financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP.
