A NHS Acute Trust on the border of Yorkshire and the East Midlands is looking for an interim Finance Director to take on overall executive responsibility for the financial management, control and financial strategy of the organisation.
Main responsibilities include:
All aspects of the management, development and control of the financial resources of the Trust, ensuring all statutory targets and duties are achieved;
Providing intelligent, informed, and credible expert financial advice to the Board;
Corporate responsibility for the management and development of the Trust, influencing strategy and delivering key objectives and targets;
Overall financial management and control of major capital projects;
Ensuring the financial strategy is aligned with the clinical strategy;
Ensuring high quality, broad-based and timely management information is available to all key decision makers and leaders in the organisation to inform decision making.
Successful candidates will have:
NHS Board level experience within an acute setting;
Experience of leading and effectively managing change with a large complex organisation;
Excellent leadership skills;
Highly developed communication, influencing and negotiating skills.
