Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager
AJ Chambers are currently working with an well established practice based in Leicester, whom are seeking an ambitious and motivated Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager.
The role would suit someone who is looking to make the step up in their career from Accounts & Audit Senior level, and learn managerial processes to develop and grow into a Managers role in the future.
As you can tell, this is an incredible opportunity for a driven and technically strong candidate to progress their career and is looking for a long term home in which to grow.
The role split will typically be 70/30 split in favour of Accounts.

Duties:
To assist in managing of team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of audits
Leading and assisting on statutory audits from planning to completion
Preparation of Year End Financial Accounts
Allocate work to other team members ensuring regular review and guidance to meet compliance standards
Ensuring that jobs are completed on time and within budget
Supervising junior staff and assisting in training
Helping locate, identify and win new business
Requirements:
Qualified ACA/ACCA or QBE
At least 4 years of experience gained in a practice setting
Accounts preparation experience gained in practice
Experience leading audits from planning stage to completion
First class communication skills and ability to liaise and form relationships with clients and staff
Accuracy, deadline focused and the ability to work on their own initiative is crucial
Experience with accounts software e.g. Iris, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero etc.
