Our client, a well-established SME business in Stevenage have a need for a Finance Assistant to join their expanding team. Reporting into the Financial Controller, and working in a busy/fast paced office, your responsibilities as the Finance Assistant will include: Processing invoices Bank reconciliations Dealing with finance queries Finance inbox/finance administration Ad hoc support to FC as needed The ideal candidate for the Finance Assistant role will have some previous finance experience, likely to be at a transactional level. You will have good Excel and IT skills, be comfortable working as part of a small team, building relationships at all levels, working to deadlines and will have a flexible can do attitude. Immediately available candidates who are keen to learn and progress will be of particular interest
