SF Recruitment are actively recruiting for an Assistant Accountant in Halesowen. This is a temporary to permanent assignment and therefore candidates must be immediately available or available on a 1 week notice. The reason this role has arisen is due to internal progression. My client is ideally looking for an ACCA/CIMA studier or at least someone who is looking to progress with their studies. The successful candidate will be tasked with the following duties; - Accruals and Prepayments - Journals - Assisting in the preparation of the P&L - Assisting in the preparation of the balance sheet - Various reconciliations - Producing VAT returns - Variance analysis Applicants must have worked in a finance role with similar responsibilities for a minimum of two years and looking for progression. Candidate who do not have experience of working in an accounting team need not apply.
