Due to continued growth, a successful business services company in Cardiff city centre are recruiting for a Payroll Executive. This is a newly created role to working alongside the Client Accountant and significantly enhances whole company's service offering. Excellent company benefits, this is an opportunity, not to be missed The primary function will be to provide an accurate and timely outsourced payroll service. To do this, candidates will have demonstrable experience in payroll, ideally in an autonomous capacity processing "start to finish" payroll. Payroll Executive duties Administration and checking of weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, including processing all payroll changes including back pay. Pension administration including auto enrolment pension scheme. PAYE & NI reconciliation. Identify and implement continuous improvement across the payroll. Administering and processing statutory notifications & statutory payments. Prepare reports as required. Respond and resolve payroll queries. Payroll Executive person specification Excellent communication skills. Solid payroll background. Experience with Brightpay/Sage desired. Continuous improvement projects from conception to completion. CIPP Qualified would be desired. Pension knowledge including reconciling monthly deductions/payments. Advanced Excel skills with all round strong Microsoft Office. Strong analytical and numeracy skills. Knowledge of SSP, SMP and SPP, HMRC regulations of PAYE and NI. Knowledge of all tax documentation, e.g. P60's & P11D's etc. The appointment of this role is crucial to the future success of the business. Therefore, candidates will must have in-depth payroll knowledge and excellent communication skills.
