Becoming a Finance Operations Business Partner with Capita Local Public Services: The Finance Operations Business Partner will provide business partnering support to our NHS clients, to provide finance management support for estates and facilities finance and to facilitate the provision of finance-related transactional services by Capita. The role will foster mutually beneficial working relationships between Capita and the Trust, co-ordinate activities between all those involved in the partnership and support managing the day to day delivery of the service on-site. The role will report operationally to the CLCH Capita Head of Finance and play an important part in the successful delivery of a leading programme for Capita Local Government Business Services. We are seeking candidates with excellent communication skills, management accounting knowledge, a good understanding of a transactional finance function, sound commercial awareness and must demonstrate an appreciation for the political sensitivities related to working with the public sector. Experience of working in the public sector or estates facilities management is desirable. What you will do: Assisting the Head of Finance and the Estates and Facilities team in day to day operations management and relationship management between the client and other key business stakeholders, and Capita Local Government Business Services and its delivery partners. Working with colleagues and between Capita and the client Trust on budgets, reporting, analysis, and ordering, effective coding and helping collate financial records for the same. Monitoring KPIs and ensuring the delivery of scheduled and ad-hoc reporting to tight timescales. Oversight and a deep understanding of all the transactional processes within the scope of the contract ensuring that all participants understand fully their part in a process and are able to execute their role and responsibilities to meet agreed expectations. Co-ordination of daily and periodic activities, liaising with delivery partners, to ensure tasks are delivered to plan and agreed deadlines are met. Resolution of queries and the identification and prevention of potential issues before they arise. Proactive identification of changes in business needs and opportunities for continuous improvement in the delivery of the service. Work in collaboration with the Trust and Estates to meet their requirements whilst ensuring the integrity of the contract is upheld. Identify and implement steps to increase efficiencies, improve consistency and compliance, and remove any blockages. Management and oversight of small projects to deliver agreed outcomes e.g. month and year end schedules or system enhancements. Ensuring all documentation is updated, current and available. Your experience will include: Demonstrable track record of developing and maintaining strong professional relationships at all levels. Evidence of success in influencing, leading, supporting and motivating stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes. Strong analysis and problems solving skills with excellent attention to detail and a willingness to challenge. Experience of using financial systems and automation to improve operational efficiencies. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills are essential. Broad experience and/or understanding of working in a transactional finance function Ability to manage own workload and prioritise effectively to meet tight deadlines.
