With our uniquely different attitude to manufacturing photopolymer and 3D printing, our innovative company is rapidly growing and as a result we are now on the search for an Accounts Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant with some sales ledger clerk experience to work for a growing award-winning manufacturing firm based in Peterborough. This role would suit a hardworking sales ledger clerk or accounts assistant who likes to be kept busy with a varied workload. In return we can offer an excellent salary of £20,000 - £23,000 per annum. Duties and Responsibilities of our Accounts Assistant: - Timely & accurate processing of customer invoices & credit notes - Raise sundry invoices and recharges as appropriate - Raising and Sending Customer Statements - Processing Customer Card Payments via PDQ and Online Links - Recording Customer Payments from a variety of sources - Maintaining Customer Price Lists - Management and Maintenance of Customer Data - Dealing with Customer Queries - Optimising Sales Ledger Processes - Invoice Discounting Account Management - Management of petty cash and reconciliation process in GBP/EURO/USD. Ordering currency when low - PayPal Processing, posting receipts, and then posting to Sage - Assisting the Head of Finance to deliver financial controls required within the business What we're looking for in our Accounts Assistant : - Minimum of 2 years accounts experience ideally in sales ledger - CIMA/AAT part qualified or fully - Naturally strong numeracy levels - Credit control experience - Confident on Excel including setting up spreadsheets - Ideally knowledge of Sage but training will be given - Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is an advantage but not essential - Ability to work in a fast pace environment to meet deadlines If you would like to join our growing team and feel that you have the necessary skills and experience to become our Accounts Assistant please click 'apply' now We would love to hear from you.
