Payroll Support Officer Job paying £30,000-£35,600 per annum on a Permanent basis
Your new company
Your new company is a well-established political organisation based in Central London. They aim to set the political agenda and speak in the national media on the issues that matter to council members. The company are looking for a strong & experienced payroll individual who is able to work on their own initiative, seeking an individual who has ran an end to end payroll process and has strong systems knowledge, preferably Unit4 Business World (Agresso).
Your new role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day payroll processes including, but not limited to, processing the monthly payrolls including calculating payments for starters, leavers and changes, calculating statutory payments including Tax, National insurance Contributions, maternity pay and shared parental leave. You will also assist with month-end processes including RTI submissions and third-party reconciliations and be responsible for weekly expenses processing.
What you'll need to succeed
* You will need to have a recognised Payroll qualification or equivalent experience to be considered for this role.
* You will be focused on the detail, well organised and committed to providing a timely and efficient response as well as continuously looking for ways of improving systems and processes, therefore someone with a can-do attitude is essential.
* The role will include some project work; therefore, we are looking for an individual who can multitask and prioritise effectively.
