Account Director - London Do you want to work for a company that do things a bit differently? What we are looking for: We are looking to appoint an Account Director who is able to continue to build mutually beneficial relationships with all clients assigned to them, as well as identifying and closing new business. Ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the client's business plans and their challenges, to enable your offering to be positioned favourably, and deliver products and services that enhance their brilliance. This role will have a new business focus in the public sector (EG: central government, DWP, HMRC, NHS etc) Essential experience: Selling technology solutions into the public sector is essential due to the understanding and knowledge required of public sector framework, restrictions and guidelines. The role will require weekly on-site attendance with clients old and new. You would be expected to be in the office on average 1-2 days per week. Key role

responsibilities:
Generating leads, identifying and closing new business opportunities including within existing client accounts Maintaining clients through good customer care, strong negotiation and maintaining close relationships Forecast and track key account metrics (E.G. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts), maintaining accurate records in the contact management system, in the pipeline and in all peripheral systems to ensure good customer service and reporting Serve as lead point of contact for all client account management matters Build and maintain strong, long lasting client relationships Negotiate contracts and close agreements maximising profits Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives Clearly communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders Prepare reports on account status Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed Required experience: Proven professional experience as an account manager or similar relevant role Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels within an organisation (including executive and C-Level) Solid experience with CRM software and MS office packages, in particular MS Excel Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects simultaneously, whilst maintaining crucial attention to detail.
