Job Summary Where should we open new stores? How do new stores interact with existing stores? Do neighbouring retailers have a positive or negative effect on our sales? How do we maximise profitability in our existing estate? This Senior Analyst role offers a unique opportunity to partner with the Property team, supporting the business in defining and delivering growth strategies for TJX Europe through the provision of insightful analysis, proactive challenge and improvement to current business practices. This role provides a great opportunity to support the Senior Leadership team, with direct exposure to the European CFO. Key Responsibilities Work with Senior Management to support the development of appropriate strategies for the growth of the TJX Europe business Partner with the property team to help support both financially and analytically across their responsibilities Evaluate and report actual versus planned outcomes of key European strategic and tactical decisions Ownership of the Return on Investment Models to support key strategic initiatives and to ensure effective business decision making Lead and develop a Finance Graduate, with direct line management responsibility Continually challenge current thinking and make recommendations on how to optimise business opportunities and minimise risk/cost to the business Support on ad hoc financial analyses that drive strategic business decisions Develop an understanding of the competitive pressures that the business faces and their potential implications and provide business alternatives/solutions Ensure all TJX Corporate requirements are met on time and to the required standard Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience Accounting qualification/ MBA Strong business modelling skills High level of initiative and drive, combined with an analytical approach to problem solving and acute commercial awareness Able to communicate and influence across the business Able to present at a Senior Leadership level Experience within a consumer facing business (Retail/FMCG) desirable Discover Different at TJX.
