NBCUniversal is a subsidiary of Comcast Corporation.Based in the Networks central team overseeing all NBCU's international activities, this role reports directly to the VP Financial Planning & Analysis (VP FP&A), with the primary aim of delivering information (both financial and non-financial) as well as maintaining all system data integrity to meet the needs of the NBCU-I CFO and Chairman. The Finance Director is responsible for driving simplification of FP&A processes with ownership of all financial data metrics with line management of the FP&A team.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:Systems:Networks owner of BPC planning tool and alignment to SAPAll data integrityProfit centre mappingSales module affiliate tracking and reportingFinance moduleHeadcount (HCM) moduleProblems solving and system lead for developing new/enhanced BPC reportsFinancial planning and analysis:Lead monthly and quarterly financial analysis, variances and forecasting activities for Networks Group. Provide regular meaningful analysis of variances and produce monthly financial packs and operating reviews.Assist VP Finance to analyse channel/business profitability helping with strategic decision making, to ensure accurate Budget and Long-range plans Coordinate key NBCU planning cycles - LRP, Budget and key estimates (May, August, October)Lead monthly and quarterly pacing routines, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to UNI HQLead analysis on identifying risks and opportunities across businessSupport the implementation of systems that impact planning and analysis, e.g.BPC)Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training.Revenue:Work with local hubs to better understand monthly/quarterly revenue variances Continuous assessment of risk and opportunitiesProvide monthly finance updates the EVP of StrategyOwn Sales Module within BPCWork closely with Sales Strategy team to align assumptions during planning cyclesDevelop models for subscriber reporting.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Finance professional Able to demonstrate commercial finance / FP&A experience in an international matrix organisation Ability to work in a fast & dynamic environment whilst managing competing priorities and ensuring completeness / accuracy of all estimatesFlexible and enthusiastic self-starter with an ambition to grow through the roleComfortable working with a mixed and changing portfolio of projects and tasksStrong people leadership skills: ability to lead, develop and motivate a teamTrack record of driving simplification and process improvementPossess high level of personal and professional integrityStrong experience in developing and reporting business performance metricsAttention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data in SAP, excel, other financial systemsFinancial expertise in capital expenditures and operations processesPossesses the confidence and executive presence to interact and present at senior management and executive levelsDemonstrated ability to deliver on multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines, be effective and decisive under pressureStrong interpersonal and influencing skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAble to build strong working relationships with all functions and stakeholders, HQ controllership team and management along with the ability to listen, understand and influenceAbility to apply business intelligence and data analytics to forecast and analyse data/trendsHighly motivated and proactive attitude towards work coupled with the ability to use initiative.The responsibilities & duties of the role are not limited to the above description and may be modified at any time by the Company.
