Are you a self motivated, well organised experienced Accounts Assistant qualified to AAT level 2 minimum? If so, we want to hear from you. Our well established, traditional clients based within the engineering sector are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a full time fixed term contract basis for 6 months. You must be IT literate and a confident Excel user with the ability to talk to and communicate with customers, suppliers and banks etc. Role
responsibilities:
• Reconciliation of supplier statements to Epicor
• Processing of purchase ledger invoices/ credits
• Prepare monthly payment runs for authorisation by the financial controller
• Administer credit control and sales ledger functions
• Collating T/A data from initial clock to producing weekly/ monthly reports to management.
• Daily cash book postings
• Manage petty cash
• Perform adjustments to payroll
• General reception duties as required including answering the telephone and general admin Hours: 37 hours per week Mon- Thurs 8am- 4.45pm Fri 8am- 12noon Duration: FTC 6 months AAT qualification to a minimum of level 2 is required To apply please email your CV and salary expectations to Sadie.
