Fraser Carver are working with a growing ambitious Financial Services client in the East Midlands who are looking to appoint a Financial Reporting/ Corporate Accountant to support the CFO and FC across a range of critical duties. We are seeking an ACA Big 4 qualified Accountant who has had exposure to reporting/ consolidation for a group of subsidiaries and ideally has had some company secretarial experience too although this can be learnt.

Responsibilities:
Accounting oversight and input for all subsidiaries (portfolio companies); ensuring monthly financial reporting is received for all and offering guidance and support to help them enhance the reporting process, providing subsequent analysis and commentary to CFO Company secretarial and investor relations duties to include maintaining company statutory books and all companies house filings, grants management, liaising with external corporate brokers, maintenance of finance risk register, updating Investor website with all AIM requirements Managing Share schemes in line with IFRS2 Valuations, Share incentive plan management, Annual HMRC submission, Corporate Tax FCA/ FSCS returns (RMA Model) and Gender pay reporting Own statutory accounting process including; annual reporting, subsidiary accounts and staying abreast of all new IFRS requirements Competitor analysis Requirements: To be considered for this position you must have financial services experience and have strong technical accounting skills. We are not expecting someone to necessarily have done every aspect, but we are only looking to consider Big 4 trained ACA's who tick most of these boxes and are keen to learn the other aspects. Excellent communication skills are essential.
