Senior Payroll Analyst, Epsom, 6 month fixed term contract, £35-40K (pro-rata) plus benefits Interim opportunity for an experienced Payroll expert to join a growing business who are going through an exciting period of change. Working within the Shared Services team, you will be responsible to ensuring full legislative and corporate compliance is maintained across all payrolls, systems and the business. Ensuring that the Payroll Team can function in an efficient and effective manner, providing a customer focused payroll service that meets all required deadlines, paying all employees accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities Ensure all internal and legislative deadlines and requirements are met, pre-payroll processing tasks are completed, payrolls are run, and the post processing tasks completed, all in a timely and efficient manner including P45 production and submission of XML. Fully balance the net payment for the payroll. Process various third-party payment reports including Pensions Ensure BACS is authorised and transmitted Update flexible benefits on a monthly and annual renewal basis including the testing of annual changes. Capture and communicate, throughout the Payroll team, HR and the business, all changes to statutory and legislative requirements. Instigate new initiatives where efficiency can be improved across systems and business-based processes Participate in all HR change programmes that have payroll impact. Requirements Extensive payroll experience, having previously worked with a 10,000 strong payroll. Full understanding of all aspects of legislative and year end processing and compliance. Strong understanding of international payroll requirements. Demonstrable knowledge of flexible benefit programmes. Experience of leading payroll projects, alongside operational delivery. Experience of reviewing systems, processes, data and people and making recommendations for change to ensure continual service improvement. Previous use of Oracle Payroll would be advantageous. Discreet with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive situations, showing high levels of integrity. Strong relationship management skills working with partner/service providers internally and externally. Kelly Services are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this role.
