Management Accountant required to join a global sports, entertainment, marketing and management company in Covent Garden. Working within a finance team of 11, they are seeking an experienced, switched on and personable candidate to be responsible for providing financial and administrative services to ensure an efficient, accurate & timely Financial & Management Accounting function. The primary function will be to support the financial close and reporting process including the month and year end management and statutory reporting, VAT returns and other tax declarations and returns whilst providing a high level of service to the business and clients. The successful candidate will have solid management accounting experience, be CIMA/ACCA qualified or equivalent and be able to hit the ground running. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications specifically with Excel (ideally Pivot tables & VLOOKUPs) is a must along with the ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections in a clear and insightful manner. Experience working in a multi-national company is also essential. Regular review and communication of cash collection receipts to Agents and Management. Ensuring all contracts and documentation in place for all revenue streams. Ensure that all consultant retainers and T&E expenses are aligned to contracts and company policy. Preparation of monthly management reporting adhering to month end deadlines. Preparation and delivery of monthly Agent commission statements. Assist with month-end close processes providing appropriate level review, analyses and reconciliation. Communication of financial performance to division leads. Manage relationship with JV partner and shared service team. Manage relationships with 3rd party accountants and financial advisors. First point of contact for the UK based accounting transactional team. Assists with year-end financial and other audits, preparing and maintaining supporting schedules. Assists with accounting integration of acquisitions and/or new business ventures and quickly establish robust financial controls and align to group accounting policies. Maintain strong financial controls and escalate issues appropriately and in a timely manner.
