Our client is currently looking for a Finance Manager to take sole responsibility for the day to day running of the finance function for a well-established company working within the construction and rail industries reporting directly to the Managing Director. Responsibilities will Include: Update and oversee all company accounts Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported Bookkeeping Uploading all Invoices Review/prepare management accounts VAT returns CIS returns Corporation Tax Cash flow forecasting Payroll Ensure Credit Card balances are reconciled on a monthly basis. Preparation and review of monthly VAT return Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies Report to the Directors with timely and accurate financial information. Skills & Experience Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or QBE Good Knowledge of Quickbooks & ideally Sage as well. Previous experience of working in construction industry or similar Competent in working alone accurately and efficiently In return you will be rewarded with a salary of £40,000 to £50,000 which will be very much dependant on the experience of the candidate.
