Financial Controller - Leisure and Hospitality - London - £60,000 - £80,000
Your new company
I am currently working with a high-end tour operator specialising in bespoke travel to specific regions around the world including Africa Indian Ocean, Asia, The Middle East, Australasia, Central and South America. Their experienced teams specialise in creating unique highly curated trips tailored to fit individual needs ensuring that every experience is always extraordinary. The business is looking to grow within the UK&I and internationally, so they are looking for an exciting finance manager to join this fast-paced environment to help develop the business.
Your new role
The purpose of this role is to provide financial and management information to the company as a key part of the finance team. You will be working within tight deadlines while also maintaining high standards in all aspects of the role. You will be expected to manage key stakeholder and partner relationships. Key responsibilities will include, assisting in the preparation of the monthly finance report for Board, preparing annual subsidiary company accounts, budgeting and forecasting, providing support to the financial controller and others in the finance team.
What you'll need to succeed
All candidates applying for the position will be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified and will have several years of working post qualification within Leisure and hospitality. You will also have a strong analytical skill set to interpret financial data, alongside a drive and ambition to take on responsibility in a successful and growing organisation. Candidates are expected to be able to develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports along with manage all banking relationships, both onshore and offshore.
