General Ledger Accountant
A fantastic permanent opportunity for a full time General Ledger Accountant role based in Bredbury.

This role is reporting in to the General Ledger Manager.
The duties include:
■ Maintain facility cost management system .
■ Review and upload journals and maintain recurring journals for prepayment and accruals and review variances.
■ Maintain and reconcile Fixed Asset Registers.
■ Maintain general ledger account analysis and journal corrections and prepare upload journals.
■ Completion of balance sheet schedules.
■ Assist in the preparation of year end accounting files and tax packs.
■ Complete Intercompany account reconciliations and investigate any variances.
■ Assist in reconciling Company Credit Card's.
■ Review and revise standard procedures where appropriate to ensure efficiency and compliance with SOX.
■ To support a culture that supports teamwork.
The successful candidate MUST:
- Have experience working in a similar role - Essential
- Be AAT qualified as a minimum - Essential
- Have multi currency and intercompany transactions experience - Essential
- Be a team player and able to work in a fast paced environment - Essential
- Have used oracle - Desirable
This role is looking to pay from £30000 to £33,000 per annum + Parking + Study support + Flexi hours + Generous annual leave
