Our finance division here within N Brown is on the lookout for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join the team, helping to develop the finance function brand across the organisation, as an efficient and professional team that enables growth. If you are naturally inquisitive with a desire to understand, learn, develop and share knowledge, then we want to hear from you If you are able to quickly appraise commercial data, identify key issues and make timely recommendations, this could be the role for you Supporting the management team, the Analyst will provide clear and effective finance partnering and planning to respective divisions, supporting the preparation of the monthly management account by being a key player in the month-end accounting. As a Commercial Finance Analyst, your duties will include: Taking responsibility for financial reports and forecasts, providing quality financial analysis and insightful commentaries to the business. Producing monthly management accounts for the divisions with the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Focussing on KPI delivery and reporting with a strong emphasis on customer service. Acting as SME for the recently implemented Oracle Fusion Financial system to support divisional users in embedding and optimising the investment. The verification of actual costs and preparing accruals, prepayments and journals. The reconciliation of all labour costs and the preparation of division resource reports with supporting insightful commentary. Ensuring that the business partners comply with the approved financial processes including all documentation, reports and plans, ensuring they are relevant, accurate and have a complete audit trail. Championing change management; driving improvements to financial accountability across the divisions, improving and standardising financial processes to improve overall efficiency; identifying and contributing to business improvement opportunities. Enhancing commercial understanding by ensuring that all stakeholders understand their responsibilities for the overall financial goals of their divisions and the business, embedding commercial mind-set and governance.
