The Trade Centre Group has grown at a rapid pace as it built on the success of Trade Centre Wales with two new sites in the midlands under the Trade Centre UK brand. We have ambitious plans to continue this growth with further expansion. In order to support the business, there is a need for improved reporting and planning. Purpose of the Role The role will support all management and statutory reporting, budgeting and tax compliance. The role will support finance business systems improvements and change including enhancements of processes and controls with a view to development of more efficient MI and integrated reporting. This is a growing business which, for the right person will provide a superb opportunity to add real value. Key Accountabilities Support in the preparation of accurate and timely financial information Balance sheet reconciliations and other key controls Calculation of accruals and prepayments Processing monthly journals Supporting the preparation of the year end statutory accounts Preparation of budgets and cash-flow projections Liaising with key management to provide commentary on management accounts Preparation of tax schedules and submissions Other ad-hoc accounting tasks as required Personal Requirements/Skills - Qualifications Part qualified Accountant Previous experience in a high performing accounts team, preferably in a similar role with a wide breadth of duties High professional standards - right first time, meeting deadlines, high quality deliverables. Must have a flexible approach and be willing and able to work additional hours where necessary Must be computer literate with strong Excel and ERP system skills Strong organisational and communication skills is required.
