Our client is a business we have dealt with for many years. They offer a lovely working environment and a great team atmosphere. The role they are seeking to fill is to cover maternity leave at their Loughborough offices. It will be for 9-12 months. - Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors - Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers' credit ratings with insurers - Ensuring timely payment of debts - Following up payments as needed - Posting of bank receipts to accounting system - Sending of monthly statements to customers and dealing with queries resulting from this - liaising with internal managers in relation to account managed customers to ensure these debts are dealt with - liaising with solicitors for debts which need referring - Managing of proforma invoices to be sent to customers The ideal candidate - Accurate, efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed - Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and Sage 50 accounts - Ability to maintain strong relationships with external customers and internal colleagues - Professional and confident when liaising with others with the ability to take a systematic approach to work and workload If you are an experienced Credit Controller and would like to work in this team giving them the support for this maternity cover, we would love to speak with you.
