Kameo Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for a Programme Finance Officer to join a well-established and reputable charity, based in North Cambridge. This position will see you working closely with the Programme Finance Manager in delivering and supporting high-quality financial assurance and compliance of programmes and projects. Our client is open to the level of experience but requires someone who is numerically minded and has worked within a finance department, alternatively they are interested in candidates who are currently studying for a finance qualification. If this is you, please continue reading for further details; Duties & Responsibilities of the Programme Finance Officer: Assist in reviewing/completing quarterly/biannual/annual reports in a timely manner. Work closely with finance staff in the field, monitor compliance with established procedures and with rules and regulations. Make recommendations and help to ensure that these are in place Conduct audits of projects and affiliates, as necessary Review and validate financial records and reports of partners and affiliates, as required Liaise with financial staff and non-finance managers. Identify, investigate and report on problem areas or delays, where possible Ensure adequate application of administrative procedures and application of internal control procedures to safeguard project assets Monitor financial positions, burn and transfer rates of projects and provide analysis and/or feedback where required Produce ad-hoc reports, reconciliations and analyses and reply promptly to enquiries from the Programme Department and management Support the Programme Finance Manager in the preparation of the annual budget and Programme focal points with project's budgets OUR CLIENT OFFERS FULL TRAINING AND IS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS WILLING TO LEARN You will need to be organised, passionate and a strong team player, along with having a positive outlook.
