Accounts Payable Manager

Accounts payable manager with Agresso

• Job spec: Review process from capturing invoices, the approval workflow, identifying hold ups, any bottlenecks, coding issues, vat issues to payment of the invoice
• Looking at New supplier information including checking details of the supplier, due diligence, capturing the need for IR35 checks, payroll checks
• Look at the roles/responsibilities/ allocation of work within the AP team
• Look at Supplier reconciliations and how/when they are completed and checked
• Review documentation of operating procedures
• Controls over creation/amendment of supplier master-file data, ie bank accounts details
• Reports and information on a monthly basis, ie number of invoices processed, no of suppliers set up, no of supplier reconciliations completed
• Review of balances and any action required
• Queries - how managed/actioned
• Credit note procedure
• Training
• Duplicate payments- controls/reports to highlight /minimise these
• Duplicate suppliers
• Talk to users of the system in a College for their perspective
