Accounts Assistant

Permanent Accounts Assistant, Coventry City Centre, Public Sector, £24,000.

Your new company

You will be working for a forward-thinking charitable trust based in Coventry city centre. They are looking for an ambitious and innovative accounts assistant to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.

Your new role

Working closely with the financial controller, as accounts assistant you will be responsible for:

• Maintenance of cashbooks
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation and posting of invoices to purchase ledgers
• Sales ledger posting (charitable donations)

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful you will have previous experience working within finance. You will ideally be studying towards your AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualification and be ambitious towards a successful finance career. You will have a high attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy.
