Management Accountant

Your new company
A reputable publishing company based a two minute walk around the corner from Oxford Circus station are looking for an Management Accountant with a Retail/Manufacturing background who is currently studying their ACCA/CIMA at finalist level to join their team.

Your new role
As the companies Management Accountant you will take charge of a range of key duties including:

• Preparing consolidated monthly management accounts
• Maintaining the stock module within Sage 200 and ensuring stock values are calculated correctly
• Preparing annual budget and regular forecasts
• Posting journals in Sage 200
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Updating weekly cash flow forecasts
• Being the contact point for the year end audit
• Improving processes and procedures

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you most be a bright and commercially minded ACCA/CIMA finalist who has a degree from a reputable university. You must have a thorough working knowledge of stock accounting, having previously worked in the Retail or Manufacturing industry. You will also be a highly numerate and organised individual who has strong Microsoft Excel skills. If you have experience working on Sage 200 this will be a bonus.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of up to £45,000 which will be regularly reviewed with promotion opportunities available. You will have access to private medical insurance and 25 days annual holiday (excluding Bank Holidays).
