We are currently recruiting for a temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant (30 hours per week) for our client based in Stevenage. Purchase Ledger Assistant (30 hours per week) - Job Overview Process invoices, ensuring accurate coding of invoices Approve expenses ensuring all expenses claimed are in line with the company expenses policy and responding to employee expenses queries Process payments; weekly and monthly payment runs. Raising adhoc payments, BACS, priority payments and cheques as appropriate Reconcile petty cash and foreign currency accounts and accounting for all transactions through these accounts Manage supplier queries and reconciling supplier statements Adhoc administrative duties as required such as stationary orders, food orders, sorting and distribution of post. Purchase Ledger Assistant (30 hours per week) - Required Skills and Experience The ability to start immediately Previous experience within a similar role Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Purchase Ledger Assistant (30 hours per week) - Benefits Offered £20,000 pro rata - £12.82 per hour 30 hours per week (over 4 or 5 days) Immediate Start with weekly pay Ongoing temporary contract Thank you for your application.
