Finance Manager - Fast Growth Tech Start-Up (Venture Capital Backed) The Client Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with an incredibly fast growth Technology start-up who have recently closed a substantial Series B raise. They have seen their valuation treble in the last 12 months as platform use has increased tenfold. They plan to scale rapidly towards a £300m valuation at the end of 2021 having achieved a circa £70m valuation at Series B. This incredible growth puts them well on track to achieve their 2021 goal and is underpinned by the development of several innovative revenue streams and the launch of a SaaS product. With an experienced, reputable leadership team they are consolidating their market position in the UK and launching Internationally in Q4. They have recently moved into a brand-new office in one of London's 'coolest' areas right on the doorstep of amazing bars, street food vendors and restaurants. They are looking for ambitious, fun people who can scale with the company and enjoy being part of a fast-paced, non-corporate environment. The Role The Finance Manager (Newly Qualified) will have an incredibly broad role managing large pieces of the Finance function and supporting the Head of Finance and CFO to drive the growth of the business providing 'best in class' business partnering and commercial support to leadership teams. The role: Manage the monthly close process and the production of management accounts Support the implementation of processes and systems to support the business as it scales Provide detailed and insightful P&L analysis Business Partner with multiple business unit leaders providing analysis and decision support Support the production of forecasting, planning and budgeting (FP&A) Support the Head of Finance with improving the financial model Ensure the company is operating under robust financial controls Responsibility for day-to-day Finance (bookkeeping, AP, AR and VAT returns) Key contact with Auditors managing year end statutory reporting (IFRS) Support the CFO and Head of Finance with multiple ad-hoc projects including future fundraises, international expansion projects and strategic planning Build and manage a team as the business scales Required Experience: Excited by Tech start-ups Love working in a fast-paced environment An eye for improving and setting up processes Highly intelligent and adaptable Excellent Communication Skills Commercially astute Confident Engaging with multiple Non-Finance Stakeholders Preferred Backgrounds/ experience: Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA preferred) Offered Package: £50,000 Generous Equity Package Start Date ASAP (can wait 3 months) Please get in touch at or give me a call on .
