Payroll & Accounts Clerk Based: Farnworth
Salary:
up to £24k dependent on experience. Hours: 30-40 hours dependent on requirement. Client is happy to consider part-time school hours but role has to be Monday-Friday. Our client is a fantastic, well-established business who has been established over 40 years. A family run company, they have grown further over the last 10 years securing various contracts to offer their services throughout the North and the whole UK. We are now looking for an experienced Payroll & Accounts Clerk to be involved in the below: Role: Working in a small team delivering payroll and PAYE related activities for the business Month end and year end RTI submissions End to end processing over 100 staff weekly payroll - collating timesheets/clocking in details and feeding into Excel/SAGE Payroll Managing tax, national insurance, SSP/SMP deductions and P60s/P11Ds. Liaising with HMRC when required Processing starters, leavers and any contract changes Inputting all payroll data, checking and balancing payroll Payment of payroll to staff weekly via banking/payment systems Dealing with any discrepancies and queries that arise at the end of the week Reconciling all pension, payroll and 3rd party payments. Reporting to Financial Controller monthly Assisting with Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and general finance duties each week Experience: It is ESSENTIAL you have experience of end to end payroll Excellent Excel/computer skills Experience of general finance - purchase/sales ledger is essential Excellent accuracy and data entry skills.
