If so, this growing independent accountancy practice firm in a prime location in Zone 2 North London is looking to recruit a new member of staff due to impressive growth over the last few years. Based in the busy Live Music Bookkeeping department, your role will be hands on, and will include bookkeeping assignments using sage, sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, expenses and invoices, preparing VAT returns as well as being trained so that you can produce tour accounts for music bands that are on tour. Training will be provided as required and study support for the AAT offered after 6 months. Your client base will be varied and include an impressive array well known music artists as well as up and coming artists. To be considered for this new role it is likely you will be at a junior level of the AAT, possibly at level 2 or 3. You will have between 6 and 12 months of experience working for a good quality accountancy practice firm, carrying out general accounting / bookkeeping / VAT duties. You must now be looking to upgrade to an accountancy firm where you will work with music clients, particularly bands that are on tour in the UK and abroad. You must ideally have experience of using Sageline 50. You will work in a friendly and growing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of music related clients.
