Heyland Finance are pleased to be working exclusively with a well-respected Chester-based investment Company who are embarking on a period of growth. This newly created role of Financial Analyst is a key appointment in supporting future investment strategies and is pivotal in aiding key management decisions and increasing financial feedback on all ongoing & future investments. Working closely with the Head of one of their key divisions the role will be responsible for: Researching and compiling due diligence on prospective investment projects Analysing accounts, profit and loss sheets, cash flow information and reports Interpreting complicated financial information Writing financial research summaries Regularly meeting with senior team members to present due diligence findings Making informed recommendations Collating detailed, up-to-date and sector-specific information Producing and maintaining accounts for ongoing projects Producing regular reports on existing projects Compiling regular statistical analysis Monitoring industry news Maintaining up to date knowledge of legislative rules regarding Government subsidies Reporting to directors and executive colleagues Close liaising with the Finance Director and wider accounts team This is an evolving role so you may be required to undertake additional tasks or participate in projects as reasonably required. It is essential to be skilled at reviewing and creating financial models, have experience in producing and maintaining financial accounts as well as being personable and be able to represent the Company brand in a professional manner. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be self-motivated with the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will have highly developed IT skills with a very high level of Excel skills as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
