We are partnering exclusively with this local pharmaceutical business in Milton Keynes to find them a progressive Financial Accountant to join the team.
Description
Financial Accountant Responsibilities:
* Producing Full Year-End and Financial Accounts
* Preparing monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Report Sheets
* Knowledge and ability to advice on compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS35
* Experience of dealing with VAT Queries
* Being a part of various digital projects
* Conducting Internal Audits
* Tax Reporting and Inventory Creating KPI Reports
* Collecting and Analysing data to be used for analytical estimates
* Good understanding of companies house
* Accuracy check of all Financial records
* Control of preparing weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure
* Responding to all financial enquiries through the interpretation of data
Profile
Financial Accountant Requirements:
* Previous experience within a similar Financial Accountant role
* Part Qualified or studying towards the completion of their ACCA or CIMA or ACA
* Computer Literate and good knowledge of MS Excel - Vlookups and Pivot Tables
* Strong understanding of IFRS and VAT
* Meticulous eye for detail
* Inquisitive in probing for further detail
* Able to handle tight deadlines
* Ability to work in a pressured environment
