YOU MUST BE FLUENT IN MANDARIN TO APPLY Role Purpose We are currently seeking a Client Accountant to join a busy Residential Accounts team in Greenwich, London. For this particular position we are looking for Mandarin speakers to hit the ground running and provide an excellent service to the landlords and tenants. The role requires excellent accounting skills, the ability to communicate articulately over the phone and in writing and taking a hands-on approach to client reporting. What this job involves Helping to improve our auto allocation of rents Reconciliation and reporting of new homes deposits Ensure data is entered correctly and accurately in a timely manner VAT reporting and any other additional reports or requirements to clients, surveyors and solicitors where appropriate. Ensure KPI's for the portfolio are identified and resolved in a line with the procedure to ensure these are kept to a minimum. Work within the team to ensure there are no backlogs of work. Answering the phone, and ensuring our clients receive excellent customer service Sound like you? To apply you need to be / have: Mandarin speaker, Cantonese will be an advantage Minimum GCSE Level education including Maths and English. Knowledge / experience of data entry Working towards a recognised accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA, ACA or CIMA) or substantial accounting experience Computer literacy essential (Microsoft Excel knowledge is crucial) Working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook required and knowledge of Client Systems (Radar) would be advantageous. Good interpersonal and communication skills Flexible and able to work under pressure, multi task and effectively prioritise. Organised and able to work to detail and to deadlines
