Senior Accountant - Stevenage Are you a Senior Accountant, looking for a challenging new role? AJ Chambers are currently recruiting for a highly progressive, fast-growing accountancy practice, looking to find the perfect candidate to join their friendly team. This role would be alongside an established team who have grown year on year and require a professional and ambitious accountant to join them. This firm are in the process of adding a 3rd office to their locations, so the expansion and growth is evident. The Role: Preparation of statutory accounts from Trial Balance to Partner review Supporting the management team in filtering the work from junior members to managers Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns and CT600s Assisting in the management of a diverse client portfolio with the management team Supervising and supporting junior team members Liaising directly with clients The Ideal Candidate: At least 2 years' experience in a public practice ACA/ACCA Qualified or close to qualifying Substantial accounts experience gained in Practice Exemplary communication and inter-personal skills Ability to work on own initiative and comfortable with deadlines Experience with accounts software e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks General knowledge of VAT, CIS and Payroll matters If you feel you are suitable, please apply direct or contact Danny Brown at AJ Chambers.
