Finance Manager Role for a Construction firm based in London - Salary circa £50k - £60k
Your new company
A specialist fit out business located in Central London, the company have recently secured new projects which has seen the company's profits soar year on year. The company gains mass repeat business and usually has circa 15 projects going on at a given time. The company see's each project as unique and would like to maintain their professional yet creative image within the fit out industry.
Your new role
The position as a finance manager has derived from the current finance manager moving onto another position within the industry. The duties that you will be tasked with will include:
- Taking accounts to Trial Balance
- Cashflow Reporting
- Budgeting / Forecasting of current projects
- Payment Runs
- Company Expenses
- VAT / CIS Returns
As the company is growing, more of the transactional tasks will be taken on by a junior accounts assistant in the future. This is a great chance to take charge of the company finances and requires someone who is enthusiastic to try introduce new processes and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a confident individual who has dealt with forecasting, budgeting and created balance sheets and a profit and loss. You should apply if you are from the construction industry. A personality is very important as you will be maintaining key relationships both within finance and across the wider business. You will need to have dealt with CIS returns previously.
