£36,000 - 40,000 per annum DOE (including London weighting)A fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to provide support to an International Region on all aspects of financial management that relate to the region's programmes, partners, offices and staff. What you will be doingAs International Programme Accountant you will act as a finance business partner to an International Region (Middle East North Africa) and provide services including financial management, financial training, financial risk assessments and support to overseas finance staff and offices.Please note that you must be available to travel internationally for up to 12 weeks per year.What we are looking forWe are seeking a qualified accountant with experience of:Developing financial systems to support international operationsSupporting the financial elements of institutional donor programmes Supporting programme teams with budget and forecast preparation Experience of risk managementWorking with international programmesThe ability to assimilate complex financial and written information quickly and accuratelyMeet the teamThe post holder is managed by the International Programme Finance Manager and is responsible for providing financial management for all sources of funding, financial training to staff and partner organisations, support to BRC overseas finance staff and offices and financial risk assessments of programmes and partners in the supported region.
