The company Established, successful and progressive thinking The Role Management Accountant Responsible for all aspects of accounts preparation, month-end reporting and financial compliance for all entities preparing and submitting the monthly management reporting pack, which includes detailed commentary on variances and identifying unusual movements/areas that require further investigation. Monthly reconciliation of payroll and pensions - working closely with the HR Manager and outsourced provider to ensure payments are accurate and timely. Exporting purchase invoices to the accounting systems on a regular basis. Reviewing weekly payment runs. Reviewing financial controls and processes, and making improvements as and when required. Preparing audit schedules and leading on the year-end audit. Assisting with the year-end consolidation and tax works. Key Skills Must have previous of experience working preferably within an SME multi-divisional or multi-currency environment Qualified either to ACCA, ACA or CIMA level or Part Qualified Very Good knowledge of Excel- able to work with reporting templates Be familiar with working with combined reporting systems Experience with foreign branches and subsidiaries Monthly reconciliation of payroll and pensions Be able to commute to London Ideally you must be available to start at short notice
