Our client, a corporate Head Office, are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant with strong reconciliation skills to join their growing team. This position is for a minimum of 3 months with a view to going permanent for the candidate who impresses my client. This role offers a fantastic modern working space with parking on site. The main purpose of this role is to assist in reconciling a backlog of accounts and you will be undertaking the following duties:
• Reconciliations of control accounts
• Reconciliation of supplier accounts
• Bank reconciliations
• Journal entries and journal updates
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts As an ideal candidate you will:
• Be able to demonstrate previous reconciliation experience
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot tables and V lookups
• Use of Sage (Sage 200 desired but not essential)
• Must be immediately available to start before the end of January.
• Can commit to at least 3 months ( with the view to going perm)
• Should be able to get to Hounslow This role will be supporting and working alongside another Accounts Assistant and reporting to the Finance Director.
