Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of their established client for a permanent Accounts Payable Analyst. Salary is negotiable depending on experience + 35 days annual leave, competitive pension, free parking and other benefits.

Your new role

You will assist with the processing of purchase invoices, the payment of suppliers, reconciliation of supplier statements, report expense trends,management of purchase ledger and travel expense controls and governance. You will deal with queries from suppliers by phone and email and ensure invoices are authorised for payment. You will create reporting to optimise expense management and you will identify and investigate non-compliance within processes and create reporting for stakeholders. A part of the role will be proactively identifying and implementing process improvements.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced Accounts Payable individual who has a passion for excellent within this area. You will takes ownership and have an ability to prioritise a busy workload with accuracy. You will display initiative, be a strong problem solver and have experience in process improvement. You will have experience creating reports and have strong I.T skills including advanced excel. You will be a confident communicator, with an ability to build relationships with external and internal customers.
