Internal Audit Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced internal audit professional to join the corporate governance function of a diverse and fast-moving organisation operating within financial services. You will be the third line of defence by assuring that risk management and internal control processes within the organisation are operating effectively and efficiently. You will provide management and leadership teams with an independent and balanced view on the effectiveness of processes and offering to improve these where necessary. Key

Design and evaluate internal controls and operating processes, developing practical solutions to problems arising in business and financial operations. Lead, direct, mentor and guide audit staff. Prepare audit reports including audit findings and appropriate corrective actions initiated for management. Report to the Audit Committee on a regular basis providing an in depth insight into concerns arising from internal audit reviews Person The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes: Minimum PIIA qualification from the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors Background working within an FCA regulated environment (highly advantageous) Methodical approach to internal audit work but with the ability to see and think outside the box when required Analytical thinker, able to constructively challenge Ability to work in a time sensitive environment Offer £40,000 - £60,000 DOE benefits
