Job Details

This is a newly created position and you will be a key member of the organisation, providing assurance to senior management through the design, communication and monitoring of financial processes and controls

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and budget-holder reports on a timely basis
  • Draft annual financial statements, supporting papers and all other relevant reporting requirements
  • Maintain, document and develop effective and robust financial controls for the organisation
  • Working with budget holders to deliver an excellent service and management information
  • Manage a finance team of 3 people
  • Manage the new online payroll system and coordinate the smooth operation of the monthly payroll
  • Work with budget holders to prepare the annual budget

Profile

Attributes of the successful candidate will be:

  • A Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA , CIMA or equivalent)
  • High integrity, strong organisational skills and enthusiasm
  • Experience of SAP would be desirable
  • A strong technical accounting background and practical experience of setting up and testing control environments
  • Strong documenting and report writing skills to provide balanced, insightful and practical outputs
  • Comfortable working under pressure and managing effective teams

Job Offer

£55,000 - £60,000 per annum + a generous benefits package
