The Regional Finance Manager will provide comprehensive business partnering and support/constructively challenge operations to drive business performance & efficiencies in the region. Preparation and reporting of the Management Accounts, and other financial and statistical data for the region and utilising trends and information within them to understand and improve the financial performance of the region.

Based in Witney my client is a large organisation with a national presence in the not for profit and charities sector.


The key responsibilities of the Regional Finance Manager will be:

  • Deliver commercial business partnering service to operations which incorporates proactive review and analysis of the region, facilitates operational decision making and drives improvement in trading performance
  • Produce regional management accounts in a timely and accurate manner ensuring they are robust and accurately reflect current trading performance
  • Work closely with the Group Finance Manager to ensure alignment between monthly management accounts and statutory accounts, particularly with the Trust's joint ventures
  • Ensure adoption of best in class accounting practice across the regions, collaborating with peers to agree best practice and drive change
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting and management of Local Authority block contracts, including calculation of void beds and occupancy levels
  • Support the business in providing greater degrees of financial accountability by providing local coaching and training to improve financial confidence and competence across the homes and operations. This includes understanding monthly performance of homes, including impact of emerging trend, identification of risks and opportunities

The successful candidate for the Regional Finance Manager will be:

  • Qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CIPFA)
  • Must be able to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills in the English language

  • IT Skills: MS Office Professional

  • Previous experience in a medium sized company and management position

  • Experience of leading a finance team of 1+

Job Offer

My client if offering a basic salary of £50,000 - £55,000 with a number of other benefits
