Reed Finance have been retained by a leading Cambridgeshire business to recruit a Finance Manager. They have also now successfully completed an important risk assessment required by their industry, affirming their high operational standards, which can only open more new doors to increase revenue. The Finance Manager role is a fundamental part of the management team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will with them to determine the impact of strategic business decisions by providing financial data and advice to assist with the business strategy. You will relay information to the management team, through the provision and explanation of the monthly management accounts. Other aspects of the post are - Record and monitor transactions for Projects Prepare P&L spending for projects to aid management with costings Recommend methods and strategies for reducing costs Advising on investment activities, providing strategies the business should take Analysing financial performance and long term forecasting Prepare annual budgets with the leadership team, reporting on these on a regular basis Maintain records and supervising all ledgers We invite those who have a professional qualification (ie ACCA, CIMA) with up to date accounting technical experience from a manufacturing background to contact us immediately to learn more.
